Accurate looking but with a sexy twist I was looking for a costume that was cute enough for me to wear out to a couple of parties but not so slutty that i wouldn’t wear it to work.Well, it was very cute and defiantly not too slutty but i couldn’t wear it too work. this costume is made of the same cheep material that all costumes are made of, and is somewhat sheer (being white and all). I am 5 feet tall and about a size 4; the slits in the skirt are a good length, but if you are quite tall it could be a problem. Also I purchased a size XS which i worried might be too small but it was great, very skin tight so be sure you have sheer undergarments, and if you choose to wear nylons use body tape to keep them from rolling, since that will be visible through the dress.
Costume received was not exactly as pictured The costume in the picture looks like it is made of a thick shiny material and has one slit. The costume actually is a thin matt white knit with two slits. It is a little pricey for the quality of the material. The extra small is supposed to be a 2-4, but it is more like a 0-2. However, the belt must be one-size-fits-all because it was big and I had to add extra velcro so it wouldn’t flop around. In spite of all that, it was fine for the occasion, although it was a little tighter and shorter than I would have liked. If you are undecided about the size go for the larger one. I would recommend getting boots (not included in this set), because they really made the costume. Overall, a fun costume to wear.
Foxy Princess Leia I ordered this costume for a Star Wars event that my work was having. I ordered the small as I am 5’1 and approximately 124 lbs (hugged my body but not so much that it was inappropriate for the workplace and the slit wasn’t that bad either). I ordered a nude full bodysuit stocking to wear underneath since I’d read that the fabric is see-thru (it is) and because I was wearing it to work. I did have to adjust the rubber “belt” by sniping the end and adding a large tab of stick-on velcro to make it fit and sit on me better. I ordered white patent leather zip-up calf boots from Amazon as well. The wig that comes with the costume wasn’t bad but I had other plans… I was dressing as the Princess Leia that George Lucas would have dreamed of had he gone with his “Star Wars Secret Wish” for a 1977 African-American “Watch It Sucka” Foxy Mama complete with Afro-Puffs and hoop earrings…so no need for the cinnamon bun wig. Just so you know, I won Best Dressed Individaul Costume…
